This is not the usual K100 custom build. At Shaka Garage, they chose a particular design to emphasize the muscular lines of the bike (wide shoulders, tight ass)
In order get it, they built a new dragster exhaust system and a nice aluminium body.
Questa non è la solita K100 personalizzata. Allo Shaka Garage, hanno scelto un design particolare per sottolineare le linee muscolose della moto (SLECS! = spalle larghe, culo stretto) e, per ottenerlo, hanno costruito un nuovo impianto di scarico dragster e una carrozzeria in alluminio molto bella.
The exhaust system looks like just a set of short empty pipes, but indeed there is a micro catalyser hidden inside the exhaust box to work as a silencer and to contrast the exhaust pressure to ensure a proper carburetion. The sound, they say at Shaka Garage, is mean, but not too noisy.
Il sistema di scarico sembra solo una serie di corti tubi vuoti, ma in effetti c'è un micro catalizzatore nascosto all'interno della scatola collettore a lavorare come silenziatore e per contrastare la pressione in modo da permettere una corretta carburazione. Il suono, dicono allo Shaka Garage, è maschio, ma non troppo rumoroso.
The bike has been named Silver Gills because of the shark gills
on the side panels under the gas tank. / La moto è stata chiamate
"Branchie d'argento" per le caratteristiche ranchie da squalo ricavate
sui pannelli sotto il serbatoio.
The rear subframe has been rebuilt and supports the new custom made seat. The aluminium tail can be removed to have a longer seat or maintained to complete the nice lines of the new handmade bodywork.
Il telaietto posteriore è stato ricostruito e sostiene la nuova sella artigianale. Il codino di alluminio può essere rimosso per avere una seduta più ampia o mantenuto per completare le belle linee della nuova carrozzeria battuta a mano.
